| San Diego anonymous, being unsatisfied with a monthly global, held another flash raid today, and the cult expected us.
Long story short, sort of, I headed out at 10 am to pick up a bullhorn I found on Craigslist, because it was a deal. By 10:10, I was shooting down the hill on 4th Ave to pass by the org. At 10:10, the shields were up!
I did a hella lot of dicking around downtown; buying batteries for my new toy and trying to find a half mask. Geez, you'd think it wasn't October with Halloween on the horizon. There was nothing. Then I ran out of gas, went on reserve, and decided that, after hitting several places that shoulda had Halloween swag but didn't, Hillcrest was the place to go.
Right that! Found mask, got gas, headed back downtown; arriving just five minutes before Random, a hard core enturbulator. He and I enturbulated outside the org for a couple of hours until thirst and ADD kicked in. The cult was absolutely turtled up and, even though there were only two of us, did not come out to harrass, annoy, or present any sign that they knew or cared that we two masked jesters were there to expose their evil scam.
Passing traffic knew. Light on horn love, but lots of covert thumbs up. Musicless, we stood our ground. Until we figured out that my new toy can be plugged in to an MP3 player, at which point we started broadcasting LRH's classic "Assessing and Nulling" rant.
Bleh. The cult was about as responsive as a dead hooker, so I convinced my intrepid comrade to slide back down to Broadway for a refreshing beverage from the 7-11. They have this green drink called 'Superfood.' I liek it.
We assumed a position at Horton, and eventually a couple more anons showed up.
They arrived just about the same time a bum fished a pigeon out of the Horton fountain pool. Birds that fall into water can be revived by warming them, and this guy had that pigeon all cuddled up against him, so he was doing the right thing for it. About the time the new anons arrived, I spotted a Coopers hawk swoop up onto a palm frond in the little park by the fountain. It just sat there for a while, waiting for some idiot pigeon to trundle by. The pigeons, however, had vanished. About then, the bum with the rescued pigeon started holding it in the air with both hands, as if urging it to take wing. I would have laughed my ass off if that Coopers hawk, which certainly saw him, swooped down and snatched his pigeon. That, alas, didn't happen. Later, I saw the bum take a scrub brush over to the fountain and vigorously clean all the pigeon poop and bird lice off his pants and jacket.
Then, the prize event of the day; a peregrine falcon soared overhead and started hunting the flock that hangs out on the Grant Hotel building. I saw it cut one pigeon out of the flock and dive on it between the buildings on Broadway. The falcon missed, but it's always a treat to see something like that.
We decided to head back to the org, and met up with a couple more anons, so we had a good crew. We danced. We waved signs. The cult turtled up tighter than a duck's ass in the water.
The day started out cold, nasty Santa Ana from the north billowing out the panels, but they held. It got warmer as the day wore on, but the wind was pretty relentless down some streets. The cult ordered a pile of pizzas. They did not share. Prolly just cheese pizzas anyways. I like pepperoni, mushroom, sausage and olive, in case SD org ever wants to treat us. Hold the green pepper. I hate that shit.
Random and I met up at around 1:00 pm. The others joined us around 4:00 pm. We did a march downtown, handed out cards, got our picture taken by tourists, walked a couple of miles, got lots of local support, thumbs up and "go Anonymous" and wound up back at the org.
As soon as we arrived, they started blasting their hideous, horrible
music. It's like, they have ONE TAPE and it's the only one. I really don't like their icky "join us and survive" rap, or "Theta, theta, see you later" shit. It is seriously the worst music evar. I am super cereal about this.
So we danced and capered about some more until it was getting too dark for traffic to read our signs. We doodled back down to Broadway and headed for this place we have made part of our routine. Do we realize the cult knows that place now too? Of course. If you establish a pattern, you're either stupid or you don't give a fuck. We are the latter.
So we're walking there off Broadway, and this skeezy lookin' creep with pockmarked face, insufficient facial hair and a whole arm sleeve of crappy tattoos is waiting ahead of us. He blatantly takes our picture with no social exchange, the typical Scilon "Imma takin ur picture fuck you" type presentation, and walks on. Note to cult: SAN DIEGO ANONYMOUS DOES NOT CARE!
Once freed from anonymity, we are stronger than you can imagine. We had some laughs, some refreshments, and went our separate ways. Win, win, and moar win. Note to cult: October is going to be a really bad month for you. We haz planz.
Long day, my brothers. But totally worth it.
PS: If anyone else wants one of these bullhorns, they are $20 and the guy has a few more. You can rig them to play your MP3, they haz microphone, and are just pretty damned cool. You can haz. Just PM me.

| No cops at all. None. Zip. Nada. Bupkis.
I'm sure that wasn't for lack of trying on Scientology's part. They were probably BAWWWing on the phone every 15 minutes about us.
Or maybe not. Has anyone noticed that, since the weird series of 911 calls coming from inside the closed org, police presence has been remarkably less?

I still think they'll send someone over, its somewhat of a service the are paid for. But not like they will put up a show about it. As long as they know who is coming I think SDPD knows we are excersizing our rights to protest, unconventional execution it may be.
