FOR TOMORROW (9-19-2009)

So I have my mask, and my motivation, and I'm ready to go

What I really want, though, is a couple different signs to bring. Unfortunately, I don't have any poster board or anything, and (no joke) really can't afford to buy any. Being unemployed sucks. But I do have a sharpie that's had most of the pooper smell cleaned off! haha

So, are any of you bringing signs? If so, will you be bringing any extras?

Also, I was kind of thinking about trying to incorporate some meme-ology into the signs, for lulz. Maybe to try and get passers-by to laugh. Ideas? Suggestions?

Anyone want to lend me a sign or five?

Hm, I'll have my "honk if you're not a cult member/your org is downstat because OSA fails to shatter supression". Poster board? There's a kinko's some can be picked up real cheap at, not sure if anyone is bringing extra.

Yeah, when I said unemployed, I mean seriously, seriously jobless going on 2 months now. When a few dollars makes a difference between a pack of smokes or no smokes, I'll pass on the posterboard

on a completely unrelated note, does anybody work at a place that might be hiring? ^_^

edit: actually almost 3 months. My bad. I mean, the job market here is far worse than I was expecting it to be...

well, i'll bring some extra poster boards and some markers... just a few bucks no biggee, you can make a sign once you're there

dude. finding a job in SD that doesnt involve retail or fastfood is a PAIN IN THE FUCKING ASS! but then again its just about the time of year that retail booms. ive been doing seasonal work and its getting me by. i would try going downtown and getting work at one of the Halloween events. theres also shit that goes on in del mar. if you know anyone thats been in SD for a while they may be able to help you out more. but seeing as im going to try and get work at one of the events this year im not giving away the place im going to. Work is a bitch to come by. I've been out of work for a year (had to quit to take care of family).
