| put this in the page's html in between the <head> tags: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" > <link rel="icon" href="sdanon.gif" type="image/gif" > the zip file containing the .gif and .ico are here: http://download.yousendit.com/750EE9DA412D0648here's what it looks like: the gif works in FF, whereas the ico will be read in other browsers let me know if you want it altered | |

| Unfortunately I don't think I can do the custom title but I shall try. I don't think forumotion allows me to directly edit HTML except through modules, I'll know more when I get home. | |

| I've never worked with forumotion but from what I gather from here, you go to General>configuration>configuration if you are able to change the meta tags from there, be sure to upload the files on some other web server and make the icon tags have the http:// before the file <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://urlgoeshere.com/favicon.ico" > <link rel="icon" href="http://urlgoeshere.com/sdanon.gif" type="image/gif" > also this would work on the mainpage as well | |

let me know if you want it altered That's actually pretty nice its like a marque, think maybe just edit it to "SD Anon" rather than the whole name? I really don't consider FF the standard of browsing, I trust opera (FF is bloated now) for my box at home or Safari and Camino (ALternative for Safari/Apple) for my laptop.

| okay good idea, here's the one that's shorter: you need to rename the file to what you put in the link metatags In regards to Opera, I too favor it. The Opera team is typically more standard compliant than most browsers. However, I don't understand why it renders flash and javascript so sluggish. | |

| Just out of curiosity, why are we using forumotion instead of using the hosting provider? Doesn't really make sense to me, unless I guess bandwidth issues could come into play depending on your host. | |

1) The hosting provider doesn't allow PHP. Sucks balls, but oh well. 2) The anon who was going to help set up the php forum and give us webspace has dissapeared, I haven't heard from him in days 3) Given D-Day is in a week, I tried to find something online that would be easy to set up, have most of the groundwork in place, etc. I figured it was more important to get the forum up and running, and alot of anon decentralizing websites are using Forumotion or its various spinoffs. I figured getting the information up as opposed to worrying WHERE the information gets set up was more important.

| Sweet! I'm used to working with invisionboards, sorry I don't know much about this board software ^^ With invisionboards there is a "forum index", which is separate from the "global index", there might be a global element you might want to try editing. One might not exist at all, but the icon is only showing up when you view the main hub of forums. | |
