Video of flashraids leading up to Flag World Tour:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GGrzY11JhIRaid report:
The Flag truck has been parked in the org parking lot for several days. This past week, a lot of new drones were spotted buzzing around the org. San Diego has been flashraiding nearly nonstop; last week we did several "stay until the barriers are up" raids with just two of us. This week, several separate raiding parties hit the org.
Tuesday, it took them 15 minutes to raise the panels.
Wed. took them under 5 minutes, as they'd kept the panels assembled and leaning up on the wall inside.
Saturday, there was a morning raid, a break, then the Flag World Tour event raid. Anon scout reported the Flag truck absent from the parking lot, and scoped out likely venues. The truck was found in the back of a boutique Marriott hotel at Liberty Station near the waterfront.
Unfortunately, this hotel is at the back of a shopping mall that, inexplicably, seems to specialize in snacks, frozen yogurt and coffee. So, we are forced to man the driveway out front, much to the befuddlement of shoppers who had no idea what the hell we were about.
L. Ron Hubbard was there with a sign demanding money. My sign, meant for attendees, simply said JUST SAY NO!
There were only three of us because one of us went downtown and got lost and finally gave up. We were sparse and mysterious, making absolutely no sense at all unless you recognized the masks.
There was quite a bit of limo action coming and going, but probably not all Flag related. There were a number of likely Scilon customers driving in, making a determined attempt to not see us.
One vehicle pulled up in the drive so the passenger could film us. When we started to film back, they put it in reverse and did a U turn. We got better pictures later when they came around again. Like duh, we already forgot what you and your car look like!
We were in place from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. If most of the attendees came in then, it wasn't a real big event at all. We saw a white passenger van from the org bringing some people in. "Park at the org and get a ride to the event! Then stay until we decide to let you leave!"
We're not sure if this was win. But it was something.
